Music & Technical Ministries

We are seeking dedicated A/V Support volunteers to serve in the sound booth in the sanctuary during our Traditional and Contemporary Worship Services!
 

In this ministry, we will train you how to provide audio and visual support during our worship services. This will include, learning how to run sound on the mixing console, mic-ing and cabling, replacing batteries on wireless gear, how to run EasyWorship (the multi-media software that makes the lyrics and videos happen on the big screen), and how to troubleshoot various a/v problems should they arise.
 

Because OBUMC also facilitates media for weddings, funerals, Holy Week, VBS, and holiday services that extend beyond our Sunday worship, we also need A/V Support volunteers who could prayerfully consider offering additional availability to facilitate those events.
