Summer 2012 Missions Trips

Robeson, North Carolina. Dates TBD. This annual mission trip includes youth and adults. Robeson is located in a poor, depressed area of Appalachia. The mission strives to improve quality of life with home repairs and visitations.

Guatemala. Dates TBD. A team from OBUMC will travel to Guatemala to build a kitchen for a village school and teach in the school in conjunction with the Highland Support Project which provides aid to poverty-stricken Mayan people in the mountains of Guatemala (see partnersinservice.org).
