Alzheimer's Family and Caregivers Support Group
This group meets at the church the third Thursday of each month at 7pm.
Griefshare is for people who are grieving the death of a loved one. Griefshare groups meet weekly to help you face the challenges associated with the deep hurt of this loss and help you move toward rebuilding your life. Each Griefshare session has three elements: (1) a video seminar with experts, (2) support group discussion with focus, and (3) workbook-based personal study and reflection.
While many other life situations bring deep grief, if you are struggling with a loss not due to a death, Griefshare is not designed to meet your grief needs for healing.
Each Griefshare cycle is 13-weeks, but you are welcome to begin attending the group at any session. If you are mourning the loss of a loved one, you are not alone. Through a video series and group discussion we will travel together on the journey from mourning to joy. New members can join at any time during the 13-week series. The registration fee covers the cost of a participant workbook. Childcare is avalable with 48 hours advanced notice.
A new GriefShare cycle will start on September 6, 2012. Meetings are held every Thursday from 7 PM to 8:30 PM. For more information, go to GriefShare.org or contact Jim Relyea (firstname.lastname@example.org) or Felix Brooks.
