February 18, 10:00am:  OBUMC Basketball Game.  At Christ Chapel on Smoketown Road.  Come out and cheer on the team!

 

February 22, 11:30am: Silver Pilgrims Luncheon.  Speaker: Rev. Paula Werner, former pastor at OBUMC.  Sign up at church.  

 

March 3, 8:00am: United Methodist Men breakfast.  All men of OBUMC from age 12 to 110 are invited.  Planning for St. Patrick's Day Lunch and other special events for Lent and the Easter season.  Bring a breakfast item to share and invite a brother to join us.  

 

March 17:  St. Patrick's Day Lunch - The UMMen will host a St. Patrick's Day Lunch on Saturday, March 17.  Make your reservations by signing up at the church. The lunch will be 11:00 am - 2:oo pm.  The cost of the lunch will be $7.00 per person (Children under 10, $4.00).  The lunch will include corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, Irish bread, a drink, and dessert.   Plan to join us for this special event.

 

April 28: Spring Yard and Camping Gear Consignment Sale – Start gathering your stuff together for the Spring Yard and Camping Gear Consignment Sale.  The UMMen and the Venture Crew are planning this sale for April 28.  It will be organized similar to our last yard sale with the UMMen setting up the area, assigning spaces, and advertising the event.  The Venture Crew will handle the camping gear to move unused camping items from your house to a new home where the gear is needed.  Looked for more information soon.
