The OBUMC Nursery and it’s staff (paid and volunteer) are here during
the 8:30am service, Sunday School, and the 11am service.
Little ones (toddlers) left for Sunday School will be taught on their
level by one of our wonderful volunteers!
On Sundays we have a paid staff member (Jennifer) during all services and
Sunday School. Along with Jennifer we have numerous volunteers to care
for your child (birth through 2 years old).
All of our volunteers as well as paid staff have had background checks
complteted which includs a multi state sex offender check as well
as a criminal check.
Want to have your child with you during service? We have a crying room
in the back of the Sanctuary that offers a more relaxed environment
for you and your child while still being able to see and hear Pastor Burton!
There is a carpeted play area as well as some toys. You could even
borrow a walker or other items from the nursery for use during the
service.
The nursery also provides numerous amenities to those with little
ones as well as nursing mothers. There are rockers for nursing or
calming a child in a semi-private area. We also have diapers, wipes,
and other items in case of an emergency :o)
We also provide child care (for all ages) for various church
organizations and functions as requested by OBUMC. 2 weeks
noticed is required. Please see Jennifer for more info.
We are always looking for loving volunteers- even if you don’t have
